Council vs. Community Roles

LinkedNation Council Members

  • Privileges: Can create proposals that will be presented to the community.

  • Voting: Must hold $NATION separately to cast votes. The council membership token does not provide direct voting power.

LinkedNation Community Members

  • Privileges: Can vote on any proposals using their $NATION tokens.

  • Proposal Creation: Disabled. Unless you befriend or become a Council member, you won’t be able to launch new proposals on your own.

Accountability & Transparency

  • No Veto Power: Council doesn’t have an overarching veto, nor does the community have veto power over council proposals. The result of the 7-day vote is final once the quorum is met.

  • Encouraged Collaboration: If you have a grand idea, pitch it to a Council Member so they can create a proposal. You still get to vote on it, along with the rest of the $NATION holders.
