What Is Realms?

Realms is a governance platform built on Solana that allows DAOs to manage proposals, treasury assets, and membership structures. Think of it as a digital “town hall” with a built-in treasury that executes decisions automatically via smart contracts (for example, transferring funds, burning tokens, upgrading programs, etc.).

Why Use Realms?

1. User-Friendly Interface: Connect your wallet and you’re good to go—no obscure command-line knowledge required.

2. Modular Setup: Each DAO can configure their own voting periods, thresholds, council privileges, etc.

3. On-Chain Execution: If a proposal passes, Realms can automatically carry out the approved actions without further human intervention (assuming the instructions were set up correctly).
